Artis expands with Canty and Co. trio

BIRMINGHAM law firm Artis Legal has taken on three new solicitors from Canty and Co. after it closed down in July.
Neil Maybury joins the practice in Temple Row as a specialist in commercial litigation and intellectual property.
He is a former partner of Pinsent Masons and DLA Piper and is also the chairman of networking and lobbying group Birmingham Business Focus.
Mr Maybury will help develop links with the Middle East and further afield to attract investment to Birmingham.
Adrian Hindmarsh has extensive experience in domestic and commercial conveyancing and has a clientele of footballers, local entrepreneurs and media personalities, and has previously worked George Green and HBJ Gateley Wareing.
Making up the trio is Sandra Denton who is a specialist in domestic conveyancing, working with developers and Housing Associations.
The new appointments come ahead of a planned move into larger offices in November.
Partner Noor Siddiqi said: “The new appointments will strengthen our existing legal team and I look forward to working with them to develop the practice in the various niche areas.
“Their success is now our success and we are continuing to show growth in Birmingham.
“We are also pleased to have secured these modern offices which shows our commitment in providing legal advice to a much wider clientele base.”
