Park Central appointment for CPBigwood

PROPERTY agent and auctioneer CPBigwood has taken over the management of more than 500 properties on the Park Central residential complex in Birmingham.
An unnamed client of the agency purchased the freehold of part of the site, which is being regenerated by Surrey-based Crest Nicholson, last year.
The appointment will see the Birmingham-based agency begin managing 543 apartments from October 1.
Partner Brett Williams said: “This client becomes the (residential) department’s second biggest as a result of this acquisition.
“We have worked with them for 3-4 years and, on their behalf, have taken over a number of developments during the last two years.
“This latest instruction is a major contract and we are very pleased to have been appointed.”
CPBigwood was formally launched on September 1 following the merger of Bigwood and Curry & Partners, announced in June.
The new set-up now manages around 15,000 flats and apartments in 450 developments across the country.
