Double success for Hadley at Black Country awards

SMETHWICK-based engineering group Hadley Industries has been named Business of the Year at this year’s Black Country Chamber of Commerce awards.
The group, whose managing director Stewart Towe is chairman of the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership, also picked up the award for Business Innovation.
Receiving the award on behalf Hadley Industries, director Barry Yeomans, said, “We were delighted to win the Business Innovation Award but to win the Business of the Year award too was absolutely fantastic.
“It’s a testament to the great qualities of the employees we have at Hadley and these awards are a wonderful recognition of their hard work, dedication and desire to keep driving the Hadley Group forward through innovation.”
The awards were held at Wolverhampton Racecourse and other winners on the night were:

Mike Dell, president of Black Country Chamber of Commerce, said all the firms should be congratulated for their efforts.
“There was a very high standard of competition this year which just reinforced the fact that the Black Country is a real centre of excellence and is home to a huge number of first class businesses which we can all be proud of,” he said.
