New banking boss makes pledge to agricultural businesses

THE NEW managing partner at Yorkshire Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Coventry has made an assurance to support agricultural businesses in the region.

Paul Reeves said he was keen to develop the agricultural sector of the business.
The 46-year-old, who has been appointed managing partner at the three FSCs in Coventry, Northampton and Stafford, will take on responsibility for Coventry, Northampton and Stafford.
He said he planned to continue to grow the bank’s business and private banking services, as well as increase growth in the agricultural sector.
“We will continue to support and advise family-owned businesses, SMEs and large corporate organisations,” said Paul, who was named Managing Partner of the Year by the Bank in 2007.
“This part of the West Midlands has a strong agricultural industry and it is an area which I feel we can help businesses in this sector to thrive and develop.”
Paul joined Yorkshire Bank in Royton, Oldham, days after leaving secondary school almost 30 years ago.
In 2002, he established a banking team in Lancaster covering Lancashire and the Lake District and four years later he was promoted to managing partner in Cheshire and Stafford.
“I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead as we continue to make decisions at a local level for the benefit of our customers and offer the type of products that businesses and local people require,” he added.
