Year end sees positive trading at Sanderson

SANDERSON Group, the Coventry-based software and IT services business, said today it continued to trade well following the year ended September 30, 2011.

It said it was experiencing good trading momentum in its manufacturing and multi-channel businesses, though the High Street retail market was more challenging.

A focus on online sales, e-commerce and its catalogue business saw the plc gain new customers across the group.

Its new SaaS and Cloud products were launched earlier in the year and the group had won over half a million pounds worth of orders for the new green IT products, it said.

Following the refinancing ahead of schedule in August, the plc’s net debt has continued to fall and is now below £7m.

Going forward, the annual savings from the re-banking with HSBC will save the group just over £300,000 in the coming year.
