Midland hotel stages unique cook-off

A MIDLAND hotel is staging a unique event showcasing the talents of some of British finest chefs.

The Cotswold House Hotel & Spa in Chipping Campden is pitting the skills of its own in-house executive chef Damian Clisby against three of the country’s finest.

The trio comprises: Lee Streeton, of Brown’s Hotel, Mayfair, James Golding, of Whitley Hotel in the New Forest, and Mark Hix, multi-award winning chef, columnist and Tatler Restaurateur of the Year 2009.

The quartet will each try to out-cook the other when they face-off on Friday.

The hotel is staging the event pas part of its annual programme of entertainment events, literary lunches and audiences with stars of stage and screen.

The event begins at 7.30 for 8pm.
