Communications agency celebrates 30th anniversary

WORCESTERSHIRE-based communications agency the drpgroup celebrated its 30th anniversary with a gala dinner at the West Midlands Safari Park, in Bewdley.
Held in a marquee, the company erected several displays recounting the group’s history and updated guests on the company’s ‘Thirty 30s’ scheme whereby it is aiming to complete 30 challenges to mark the anniversary.
As part of the event, a cheque was presented to Macmillan Cancer Support which was raised by staff who completed the Three Peaks challenge in May.
Members of the technical services team climbed Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in quick succession and raised £4,000.

Marketing professionals and agencies can register with the site and buy leads, enabling them to pitch for work that suits their capabilities. The site covers services such as internet marketing, market research, web design, copywriting, advertising, public relations and exhibitions. Mrs Mckee said: “If a company is looking for a particular marketing service they can consult the internet or directories and find so much choice it ends up being no choice at all. Finding a supplier which precisely matches their needs is not easy.”

Chantrey Vellacott’s new man set to tackle Three Peaks

Tony Elliott,  new corporate tax manager, Chantrey Vellacott DFK Tony Elliott, new corporate tax manager at Chantrey Vellacott DFK in Birmingham, is preparing to tackle the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Kidney Research UK. Mr Elliott, who joined the accountancy practice from Shropshire-based firm Whittingham Riddell, will tackle Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon on July 15 with the aim of raising £5,000. The 45-year-old had spent 19 years in petrol retailing before changing career paths and retraining to become an accountant in 2003.
