New office recruited to boost company’s profile

A RECRUITMENT company has moved offices after 10 years at the same base in Birmingham city centre.

Extra Personnel has left its home in New Street to take up new residence in Cavendish House, in nearby Waterloo Street.

Twenty-five staff are now occupying a 3,602 sq ft ground floor suite in the seven-storey building which is fund managed by Aberdeen Property Investors and managed by consultants GBR Phoenix Beard.

Richard Fletcher-Brewer of GBR Phoenix Beard said: “This letting follows a string of well-known occupiers moving to Cavendish House including venture capitalists Midven Limited who took 2,766 sq ft of space earlier this year.

“We are delighted Extra Personnel have settled into their new office.”

Extra Personnel was formed in 1992 by Jeremy McGrail and Steve Price.

Managing director Mr McGrail added: “We have had our eyes on the market for a long time.

“Our lease was coming to an end and we particularly liked this property because it gave us everything we need.

“We wanted an office which would improve our profile because we feel that Birmingham is starting to shake off the effects of the last couple of years and we thought it was the right time to raise our profile.

“Cavendish House is in the right location in the heart of Birmingham city centre, it is the right size and it gives us scope to expand should we need extra space in the future.”
