STAFFORDSHIRE-based CP Automated Lighting (Northern) has continued with its expansion with the appointment of a new engineering manager.
Sheryl Nathan, who nine years experience in electronics and engineering, will oversee the incorporation of new products in the design and commission of automated lighting control systems.
Ms Nathan, a qualified part time lecturer at Stafford University, studied for her BTEC HNC/HND in Electronic and Electrical Engineering in Malaysia before moving to the UK to complete a BEng first class honours degree and PhD in Electronic Engineering.
“Having previously worked as an engineer with Carillion on the design of rail track signalling systems, Sheryl’s specialities are in the fields of High–Brightness Light Emitting Diodes and Analogue and Digital Radio Frequency systems.
“Sheryl’s proven engineering background and specialist knowledge will further strengthen the technical team and help keep CP Northern at the forefront of lighting control,” said David Hart, managing director of the Sugnall firm.
“We are always looking at developing the range of services we offer, studying new innovation and products that come onto the market to aid energy efficiency. Sheryl will help us explore this further and in particular the integration of new products into the design and supply of the lighting control systems we commission,” he added.
