April date for Saint Nick Awards

ENDLESS has announced that its Midlands Turnaround Awards – otherwise known as the Saint Nick Awards – will be held at the Jam House in Birmingham on April 25.
The firm confirmed all profits from the event will go to the Turnaround Foundation charity which will reinvest the funds into specific projects in the region supporting education, enterprise and employment.
The event is named the “Saint Nick Awards”, after Saint Nicholas, a venerated miracle worker whose legends depict him as a protector and helper of those in need.
Darren Forshaw, partner at Endless, said: “The local professional community provided fabulous support last year for the only awards that recognise the contribution of the restructuring and turnaround teams in the region and we are hoping for the same again this year. As well as highlighting those that excel in their field, we also aim to raise money for local causes.”
Turnaround specialist Endless hosts the Saint Nick Awards in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds and a total of more than £55,000 has been raised for charities to date.
There will be several award categories during the night across the accountancy, legal, banking, management and valuation professions, culminating in the “Turnaround Professional of the Year” Award. There will also be a category to recognise the “Rising Star” of the profession.
TheBusinessDesk.com publisher Marc Reeves is one of the judges this year.
