It’s a dog’s life for Lisa as pet clothing business expands

A WORCESTERSHIRE dog walking and sitting business has expanded after spotting a niche in its market.

Lisa Garner established Happy Paws in Redditch in 2009 and the business has grown steadily during the past three years.

Following many hours spent with her clients she identified a potential niche opportunity in the pet marketplace for a luxury, online boutique specialising in dog-related clothing.

Little Pooch stocks a range of specialist products for the unusual market and Ms Garner said the move was already paying off with interest from pet owners.

The website was initially set up to cater for small dogs but is now receiving interest from the owners of larger dogs. Consequently, Ms Garner has expanded the product range to meet their needs.

All products are personalised and dispatched with a gift box option of bows and ribbons around a box. Requests for individual finishes inside the box are also catered for.
