Documotive and Fusion joined together

SUTTON Coldfield software firm Documotive has taken over rival Fusion Information Systems for an undisclosed sum.

Documotive, which provides EDRM and process management solutions to the UK social housing sector says the acquisition of Bishop Auckland-based Fusion
will strengthem its range of software solutions by adding data warehousing, reporting and process management capabilities to its existing portfolio of products.

Both Documotive and Fusion work exclusively with social housing organisations to supply software applications to manage their day-to-day business processing, documentation, performance management and reporting needs.

Fusion’s staff of seven will be joining Documotive’s 31 strong team.

Jonathan Holyhead, managing director of Documotive, said: “We are all very much looking forward to delivering an even greater range of products and services to our combined customers. The increased knowledge, capacity, experience and skills of our newly combined team will benefit our customers and products across the range.”

Simon Reay, managing director of Fusion Information Systems, said: “The close fit between the product sets will allow us to very quickly offer exceptional integration into the Documotive product set and offer amazing efficiencies and savings to both new and existing clients.”
