Pure chooses Tournament Fields for £3m office development

A NATIONAL provider of serviced offices is planning a £3m investment in  Warwickshire.

Pure Offices, which operates serviced offices in 13 centres across England and Wales, has agreed to buy nearly an acre of land at Tournament Fields just off junction 15 of the M40.

It is now working up a scheme for a 17,600 sq ft building which could bring around 200 jobs to the business park, and hopes to submit a planning application in the next two weeks.

Pure Offices’ Nick Smith said it would be the company’s second major investment in the area.

“We opened a new serviced office centre on Tachbrook Park in Leamington in 2009 and it has been a real success,” he said.

“Tournament Court is very well placed between Coventry and Stratford and we see it servicing a different area.

“We do not have two centres as close to each other as Leamington and Warwick anywhere else and I think that shows how strong the economy is.”

Pure Offices, based in Newbury, is part of Highcross – a property fund manager specialising in investment and development opportunities.

Andrew Wall, of commercial property agents Wareing & Company, said Pure’s decision is a real vote of confidence in the area.

“Tournament Fields is well positioned to serve Warwick, Stratford and the surrounding areas and that fits perfectly with the needs of Pure Offices,” he said.

“It says a great deal about the SME economy that Pure is investing for a second time in this area and this is very good news indeed.”

Tournament Fields, owned and developed by Sackville Developments, is already home to Swiss sanitaryware company Geberit – which has its UK headquarters on the park – Taylor Wimpey, the National Association of Estate Agents, and Riding for the Disabled.
