Forward move for Springhall
BLUSOURCE’S Andrew Springhall is to be the new deputy chair of professional services organisation Birmingham Forward.
His appointment will be confirmed at the organisation’s annual general meeting this evening.
Springhall, the owner of the specialist recruitment firm, has been a director of Forward since last year.
He said: “I will be working closely with Gary Cardin and the board to ensure that, as an organisation, we play our part in making the business and professional services sector in Birmingham even stronger.
“There are some very exciting opportunities ahead and I am looking forward to making my contribution to ensure our members continue to prosper despite the difficult economic conditions that prevail.”
At tonight’s AGM Cardin will tell members that Birmingham is at an exciting and pivotal time in its history.
“Many key projects and initiatives that will deliver transformational change in our city are either about to happen or are committed to happen,” he said.
“New ways of funding key projects through the LEP are also an important change to the landscape in which we operate. Birmingham Forward is working closely with the LEP and we will do all that we can to support them to deliver an effective programme resulting in greater prosperity and opportunity across the region.”
