Wolverhampton PR firm snatches key client from Max Clifford

A WOLVERHAMPTON public relations firm is celebrating a key account win with a company previously advised by sector guru Max Clifford.

Pressvine has secured the contract with FSC Investments Services, a financial advisor with many leading celebrities on its books.

Pressvine said the win highlighted its successful development within a very competitive sector.

The firm is now aiming to boost FSC’s public profile by use of its innovative software, which allows clients to drive their agenda forward by creating press releases and distributing them to specific and effective target audiences.

Adam Tipper, Pressvine commercial director, said: “This is a significant coup for us, not only because of FSC’s previous work with Max Clifford but also because they are a highly respected advisor in their own industry.”

Frank Cochran, FSC managing director, said he had wanted to have more control over the firm’s local presence, which was one of the main reasons why it decided to take a hands-on approach to managing its own PR.

He said: “What we wanted was a local presence. Max Clifford had already provided us with the national presence. As he’s quite high profile, he got us all into the right places, introduced us to the right people and provided us with a real good business presence. The tips and assistance we learnt from Max Clifford were immense.”

A celebrity in his own right, Clifford manages the PR for names such as Simon Cowell, Stacey Soloman and Aldo Zilli. FSC also manages the finances for an array of stars.

“The Pressvine software allows us to drive the ship ourselves, which is really helpful to us, as it’s vital to manage press activity as well as financial matters in today’s economic climate,” added Mr Cochran.
