Wilson Field nominated for record haul of awards

SOLIHULL-based business recovery and insolvency firm Wilson Field has been short-listed for a company record four categories at a national industry awards.

Wilson Field, which is based on Blythe Valley Business Park, is one of the finalists at the Insolvency and Rescue Awards 2012.

The company has been short-listed in the Insolvency Team of the Year category and the Corporate Recovery Firm of the Year award, which is open to businesses with up to 10 licensed appointment taking Insolvency Practitioners (IPs).

Rob Dymond, insolvency practitioner at Wilson Field has been short-listed in the Personal Insolvency Practitioner of the Year category and Phil Meekin, head of marketing, has been nominated in the Insolvency Manager of the Year award.

The award winners will be announced at a black tie event on October 10 at the Lancaster London Hotel.

Nick Wilson, managing director at Wilson Field, said: “The awards short-list is brilliant news and recognition of all the hard work from everyone within the company during the past 12 months.

“To be finalists in four categories at this prestigious industry awards is a new record for Wilson Field and a fantastic achievement from both the teams and individuals involved.”  

He said the business had had another good year and was continuing to grow, adding new staff and opening our West Midlands office.

“We are bucking the industry trend and have sustained an increase in business over a number of years, which reflects our quality of work and professional contacts acquired during the past decade,” he added.

“We are now consistently placed in the top 15 insolvency practitioners in the UK and successfully compete against a number of major international organisations.”

Wilson Field also has offices in Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.

The company has expanded its workforce by a further 20% in the last 12 months, bringing the current total of staff to 78 across all four UK locations.  

The Insolvency and Rescue Awards is regarded by the industry as the most prestigious awards scheme in the insolvency and rescue sectors.
