Care provider Inshore set for expansion after refinancing deal

A BLACK Country company that provides care and accommodation for adults with learning disabilities is to expand after it agreed a major refinancing deal with Handelsbanken.

Stourbridge-based Inshore Support is seeking to purchase a further seven homes in the Dudley borough to complement its existing 24 properties across the region so it can meet the rising demand for its services.

Dudley legal firm Hawkins Hatton advised the care provider on a re-mortgaging and refinancing package, which will enable the company to buy the new properties.

Inshore Support was established in 1999 and provides support for adults with complex needs in order that they live independently either in a care home setting or in private accommodation with support.

Family homes are furnished and staffed by the firm to allow individuals to attain as much independent living as possible.

It currently looks after about 40 adults, all of whom are aged between 18 and 65 and are either housed and cared for in residential homes or in supported living accommodation.

Managing director Adam Webb said demand for its services is increasing to such an extent that a carefully targeted expansion plan is required.

“We are now in the process of buying seven properties in the Dudley borough and look forward to refurbishing them to make them suitable for the individuals who are referred to us and work towards giving them good quality accommodation and support.”

Colin Rodrigues, corporate partner at Hawkins Hatton, who worked closely with Stephen Ellis of Handelsbanken and David Price from Price Pearson Accountants to complete the transaction, said: “Inshore Support Ltd does a superb job at looking after some of society’s most  vulnerable people so that they can live an independent life.

“This remortgage and refinance deal will enable it to further its ambitions to help even more people in the Dudley borough.”
