Birmingham businesses sign up for growth
GROWTHACCELERATOR, the service that helps ambitious businesses achieve rapid, sustainable growth, landed in Birmingham last night to address a packed room full of local businesses as part of an eight date nationwide tour.
More than 200 entrepreneurs and ambitious business leaders of the future attended the event in the prestigious Jaguar suite at Edgbaston Cricket Ground to hear more about what GrowthAccelerator offers to high-growth businesses and to hear keynote speakers Michael Taylor, founder of Think More, and Ellis Watson, chief executive of DC Thompson and former head of Syco Entertainment, address delegates.
The events are designed to bring GrowthAccelerator to businesses across each region and provide inspiration and guidance for companies that are keen to see rapid growth. GrowthAccelerator offers personalised support to high growth businesses and has a nationwide network of more than 800 coaching experts – people who have started, managed and grown highly successful ventures in a wide range of market sectors.
Taylor, who compered the event, said: “GrowthAccelerator represents a new movement that has decided to not take part in this recession and, instead, power forward and identify opportunities for growth.
“There is no doubt that business conditions are as tough as ever, but the launch of GrowthAccelerator is a call out to businesses that have aptitude, attitude, ambition and capability for growth.”
Watson spoke to the attendees about how to act as a business leader and how to create a healthy and prosperous business culture.
In addition to Taylor and Watson, a panel of experts was on hand to give their advice on how to get ahead in business.
