Turnover hike at Hugo Technology

MEDTECH repair and maintenance firm Hugo Technology has seen its turnover increase by 15%.

The Bromsgrove-based company employs more than 40 people across the UK, servicing medical devices and equipment for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) both at home and across Europe.

The business has seen its turnover increase to £2.1m, up from £1.8m in 2011 with several new contracts already secured in 2013. 

Warwick Oakey, joint managing director at the firm, said: “Medical technology is continuing to grow with pace and with it is the need for talented specialists that can service equipment to the highest levels.

“There have certainly been challenges in 2012, especially ensuring we had the engineers in place once a new contract had been secured.

“Continued growth has also led to investment in a new facility which represents our aspirations and reflects our presence in the marketplace which is continually growing.”
