Citypress puts the seal on expansion

PR consultancy Citypress has expanded its Birmingham-based consumer team with the appointment of Louise Evans from Seal Communications.

Her appointment as Account Manager follows a series of new business wins for the Newhall Street agency. These include Beverage Can Makers Europe (BCME), the non-profit-making trade body that represents Europe’s leading drinks can manufacturers.

Ms Evans spent three years at Seal working across both business and consumer briefs, developing client specialism in retail and food & drink.

At Citypress she will report to Account Director Holly Jones, with responsibility for managing a number of the Midland’s teams’ flagship accounts, several of which are serviced across the business’ UK office network, which spans Manchester, Edinburgh, London and Bristol.

Ms Jones said: “Louise’s appointment coincides with our two year anniversary in the Midlands and follows a period of sustained growth for our business. With strong contacts across national print, regional and broadcast media, she brings another dimension to our already experienced team and will contribute further to our continued success.”

Prova supports growth with new appointment

WARWICK communications consultancy Prova has supported growth with the appointment of Tim Franklin as senior account executive.

Franklin brings with him a host of skills from his previous role as editor of business-to-business magazines within the automotive, logistics and construction industries at Hamerville Media Group. Passionate about the automotive industry, he has worked on everything from content generation to magazine strategy and social media management.

He said: “I am delighted to be making the move into PR and to be joining Prova at such an exciting stage in its development.”

Prova’s managing director, Richard Postins, added: “We have an exciting future ahead of us, so this is a great time for Tim to join and we are confident that with the skills he brings to the company, he will be a valuable member of the team.”

NC Creative recruits technical specialist

Alex Manford, Account Manager, NC Creative GroupSOLIHULL-based international marketing and communications agency, NC Creative Group, has expanded its technical PR capabilities with the addition of former Commissioning Editor of The Superyacht Owners’ Guide and copywriter for Yachting Pages, Alex Manford, left.
 
Manford, from Leamington Spa, joins the agency as Account Manager specialising in technical copywriting. Working closely with PR Account Director, Terry Forsythe, he is set to work primarily on the business’ international trade clients; Sandvik Materials Technology and leading European engineering steel producer, Ovako.
