2 Sisters launches employee benefit programme for its 24,000 workers

BIRMINGHAM-based 2 Sisters Food Group has appointed employee benefits provider Personal Group to deliver a voluntary benefits programme for its 24,000-strong workforce.

Personal Group will begin the programme next month, when it will also introduce an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). The programme will be available to employees both on and offline, via a bespoke web portal and through a hard copy benefits book.
 
2 Sisters operates across 47 different locations in the UK and Ireland with six plants in Holland and one in Poland. It has annual sales of around £3bn and produces well known food products such as Fox’s Biscuits and Goodfella’s Pizza. It also includes British Airways, Costa, Harrods, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tesco and Waitrose amongst its clients.

The company said it was keen to use the voluntary benefits programme to reward its employees and to make their money go further. It said it has chosen Personal Group to provide this programme as its values closely mirrored its own.

In addition to making their employees’ pay packet go further 2 Sisters Food Group said it also wanted to support the health and wellbeing of their employees. The EAP will provide support across a number of areas including marital and family matters, financial and tax problems. Telephone counselling, online support and specialist helplines will also be made available, alongside a new on-line health assessment programme.
