New Asian business network set for Worcester

LAW firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys, together with accountants and Haines Watts, have launched a new networking group for Asian business professionals in the Worcestershire area.
Organised by Dina Parmar, of HCR and Najma Qamar, of Haines Watts, the Worcester Asian Business Group is set to meet twice a year. The first event took place at Pasha Restaurant in Worcester.
The event is intended to provide an opportunity for members of the Asian business community and city professionals from Worcester and the surrounding areas to meet in an informal setting and share problems outside of the workplace, as well as draw on their own experiences to provide assistance and support for others.
Dina Parmar said: “This really is a business group with a difference. We hope that first and foremost it will provide an on-going source of informal support for the local Asian business community, as well as valuable networking and business opportunities.”
Najma Qamar added: “From past experience I have found a dedicated working Asian group to be very successful and thought it would be something that Worcester could benefit from. We envisage a group that can assist one another through challenges; providing a framework to develop business opportunities, at the same time getting to know the community and having fun.”
