Aldridge firm Send Marketing Solutions invests in new machinery for growth

AN Aldridge-based direct marketing firm has invested in new machinery to sustain growth.

Send Marketing Solutions has spent £35,000 installing a new enclosing machine to meet increasing business demands.

New Business Manager, Toby Batchelor said: “The increase in business volumes that we have experienced so far this year has been quite phenomenal and it is imperative that we maintain our reputation as a supplier of excellent direct mail services by investing in the right equipment to do the job.”

The new Pitney Bowes DI950 allows the firm to enclose up to five different items into envelopes automatically at high speed. It will operate using DL, C5 and C4 envelopes and can selectively enclose the correct personalised items using its sophisticated camera matching system and control software.

“Direct mail is becoming more and more targeted. Our clients now expect us to be able to tailor the mailing piece’s message more and more closely to the likes and preferences of each of their recipients and this equipment allows us to meet those demands in full,” added Batchelor.
