Lifestyle: clubandspa celebrates special award

A BIRMINGHAM spa is celebrating after being crowned ‘best spa for a day’ in the national category at this year’s prestigious Good Spa Awards.

Staff at theclubandspa, based in the city’s iconic Cube building, have been recognised because of the venue’s compelling offer.

The awards, which were launched in 2010, shine a light on the best spas in Britain, with the winners of the national awards being carefully selected by an expert panel of Good Spa Spies.

Ross Hadley, general manager of theclubandspa, said: “We’re both delighted and extremely proud to have won such a reputable award. We faced some incredibly strong competition from across the UK in the category and are absolutely thrilled to have come out on top. Our entire spa team work extremely hard to ensure that each of our guests have an exceptional relaxation experience with us and it’s fantastic to see their dedication recognised on a national level.”

Nicola Williams, spa manager at the health club added: “At theclubandspa, we understand the importance of treating each client as an individual, offering new spa treatments, programmes and retreat options that are tailor-made for our guests and their lifestyle, helping them to feel great not just during their visit to the spa, but for a lifetime. We are overjoyed to have been awarded the title of ‘best spa for a day.’

“It’s a true reflection of the personalised award-winning service that we offer and we look forward to continuing to exceed expectations and setting new benchmarks for the spa in the future.”

theclubandspa offers a variety of treatments, as well as the more unusual treatments including the invigorating Rasul mud treatment and the calming lava shell back massage.
