Bridge PR lands major construction sector account

COVENTRY PR firm Bridge PR & Media Services has been awarded the public relations account for crash energy management expert Oleo International.

Bridge, which already has a significant presence within the construction and engineering sector, will manage a campaign for the Coventry-based engineering firm to position it as a world leader within energy absorption.

Part of the wider T A Savery and Co Group, Oleo International designs, manufactures and supplies all of its products in the UK and China, with worldwide distribution. The company is a specialist provider of energy absorption products across multiple sectors, with a focus on the elevator, railway and industrial markets.

The campaign managed by Bridge will see Oleo International positioned as international leaders in energy absorption products and applications; as well as a Midlands company that is helping to develop the next generation of engineers through its apprenticeship programme.

The campaign will use traditional forms of PR targeting a variety of international construction and engineering publications.  The PR brief also includes work for Oleo’s partner Savery Hydraulics, a leading expert in the design and manufacture of hydraulic solutions, electro-hydraulic solutions, and small individual industrial units.

Bridge was awarded the contract based on previous campaigns it had managed for one of Oleo International’s suppliers. The company’s previous experience within the construction and engineering sectors was also a major factor in the appointment.

Bridge managing director, Denise Taylor, said: “We are delighted to be working with Oleo International and supporting them on a number of their product launches. Oleo International is a Coventry firm with an international presence, one of the true British engineering champions based in our region.”
