Mobile Fun on the search for talent after move

MOBILE Fun has announced expansion plans following the opening of an operation at Birmingham Science Park Aston.

The retailer of mobile accessories – which also has an existing base in the Nechells area of the city – says it is to expand its technical team to support its growing website portfolio and new mobile site.

The company also has a graduate programme and openings for experienced developers.

Mobile Fun now has over 100 employees in six countries.

Mohammed Hussain, the firm’s managing director, said: “With our expansion to Birmingham Science Park Aston, we expect to attract talented developers from the growing number of e-commerce, digital and gaming businesses based there.

“We believe that Birmingham needs to attract and retain new graduates as well as experienced developers by offering opportunities in dynamic and growing companies. That’s where we are leading the way in online retail.

Mobile Fun is looking to recruit developers with expertise in PHP, javascript, HTML/CSS, object oriented software design, MySQL databases and more.
