St Modwen announces second Birmingham base

DEVELOPER St Modwen has announced it is setting up a second base in its home city of Birmingham.
The firm’s Midlands regional team of St Modwen, alongside the specialist residential part of the business, St. Modwen Homes, is moving to a new home at Park Point, Longbridge, the area of Birmingham that St Modwen is redeveloping.
Head office operations will remain at Sir Stanley Clarke House at Quinton Business Park.
The move will see the Midlands team, led by regional director John Dodds, alongside the St. Modwen Homes team, led by managing director Guy Gusterson take almost 6,000 sq ft of space at the building in Longbridge town centre.
Dodds said: “We’re extremely pleased to announce our move to Park Point. The relocation of the Midlands office has been prompted by a strong performance in the region and reflects the national strength of the company.
“Park Point offers us a modern working environment from where we can continue to build our business operations in the Midlands based on our position as one of the UK’s leading regeneration specialists.
“We have a large number of significant Midlands-based development projects coming forward and are now in a good position to benefit from market improvements in 2014 and beyond.”
