Exclusive wealth management event announced
FOUR of the region’s top wealth management experts have been confirmed as the speakers at an exclusive event organised by TheBusinessDesk.com later this month.
The Wealth and Taxation Seminar is a breakfast event, and will be held on September 30 at Birmingham’s Hotel du Vin. Chaired by editor Marc Reeves, the expert panel comprises Derek Proctor, Midlands regional director of HSBC Private Bank , Eric Williams , head of tax in Birmingham at Grant Thornton, and Amanda Elwell, private client tax partner and Andrew Noble, corporate tax partner at Browne Jacobson.
The panel previously got together in the immediate aftermath of June’s emergency budget, which Chancellor George Osborne claimed would deliver an entrepreneur- and business-led economic recovery.
In a round-table discussion, which was covered in this video report , the panel discussed how changes to the Capital Gains Tax regime could impact the investment and income strategies of business owners – as well as the implications of new personal and corporate tax rates.
Three months on, the panel is coming together again to reflect on the new landscape for those interested in managing their wealth and securing it for future generations.
