Mobility products supplier expands to support growth

A BLACK Country-based mobility products manufacturer has expanded in order to sustain the growth of the business.

Dolphin Lifts Midlands, based in West Bromwich, supplies products such as stair lifts, wheelchair lifts and hoists to the homecare sector.

The firm has grown significantly since being established seven years ago. Staffing numbers has increased from two to 42 during that time, a number of them apprentices.

It has now expanded its Oldbury Road premises so it can continue to accommodate growth. The extension was formally opened during a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Sandwell, Cllr Linda Horton.

Norman Farrington, managing director, Dolphin Lifts Midlands, said: “I am delighted with our company’s progress over the last seven years and I want to continue this trend. We are a family business that wants to invest in the local area and the skills of local people.”

Dolphin works closely with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, where Farrington is a Sandwell board member.

He added: “I would like to thank everyone that has supported us through this growth and long may it continue.”
