Rewired set to deliver wider PR remit for The Mailbox

BIRMINGHAM agency Rewired has been tasked with providing both the consumer and B2B PR for city shopping and dining venue, The Mailbox.

The extension of its remit comes after the agency delivered projects for the venue over the past two years such as Style Birmingham Live.

The agency will support The Mailbox through its redevelopment phase and beyond, having responsibility for profiling its consumer offering, including driving awareness and footfall to the 20-plus restaurants and bars which it is home to, as well as wider stakeholder engagement through property and trade media.

Tarah Hewitt, Marketing Manager at The Mailbox, said: “This is an extremely exciting and important time for The Mailbox and for Birmingham and we want to make sure that this success story is communicated as effectively as possible.

“Having worked with Rewired on a number of previous projects, we are not only confident that they understand our offering and what we are trying to achieve but that they will deliver a creative and strategic campaign which will tell The Mailbox’s story in the most effective way to a broad audience.”

Rebecca Williams, Deputy Managing Director at Rewired, added: “As a Birmingham agency we are delighted to be working with such an iconic and prestigious leisure and shopping destination.

“The Mailbox is a fantastic venue and to be supporting it at such a significant time is a real privilege.”

The Blue Cube set to shine with Jewellery Quarter relocation

Jewellery QuarterDIGITAL agency The Blue Cube has relocated from its Worcestershire base to a new office in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The agency, which specialises in web design and app development, has shifted from its offices in Alvechurch offices to a studio in Frederick Street. The move is in line with the agency’s growth strategy and follows several new client wins.

It has also collaborated with London branding and communications agencies on a number of high profile accounts. Clients include Debenhams, Lloyds Bank and MITIE.

Phill Burrows, managing director of agency, said: “The Blue Cube has built a reputation for good, solid design and quality work from our previous Alvechurch base for more than a decade. By bringing this knowledge and experience to the city centre, we believe we’re adding value to Birmingham, as the go-to digital hub for businesses across the country.”

He said the move would also allow the agency to explore new business opportunities and build meaningful relationships in the city centre.
