KWB’s Solihull hot streak continues as it lets 17,000 sq ft at T3 Trinity Park

KWB has let the ground floor of T3 Trinity Park in Solihull to IT service company Steria UK.

Acting on behalf of Laing O’Rourke, KWB – working in conjunction with fellow property consultancy Gerald Eve – let 17,000 sq ft to Steria.

Financial details have not been disclosed.

Steria is a multi-national information technology services company, with 20,000 employees across 16 countries.

Birmingham-based KWB has completed a number of deals in the area of late and estimates it has done 60% of the transactions for office space in Solihull and the M42 corridor in quarter 1 this year in square footage terms.

Steria UK says the move to T3 will enable its Midlands regional office -currently located at Birmingham Business Park in Solihull – to achieve far greater workplace efficiencies due to the large open plan office floor plates.

KWB points out that the development of Resorts World Birmingham, a £150m leisure and entertainment complex which is due to complete next year on the neighbouring NEC site, will provide a wealth of additional amenities, including a range of restaurants, bars, hotel and conference facilities and retail outlets.

Mark Robinson, partner at KWB, said: “We are delighted to have secured Steria into T3 offices close to Birmingham Airport. The floor plate is one of the largest available within the M42 corridor and this will deliver Steria a highly efficient occupation.

“Historically, we have experienced strong demand for Trinity Park due to its proximity to Birmingham International train station, but with the development of the Resorts World scheme and next month’s opening of the runway extension at Birmingham Airport, which will directly service the Far East and the West Coast of America, we anticipate this area to experience further increased demand.”

KWB is also instructed to market Steria’s existing 33,000 sq ft of office space at  Birmingham Business Park.
