Coleshill manufacturer H T Brigham invests for growth

METAL stamping manufacturer, H T Brigham has invested in new machinery in order to sustain growth.

The Coleshill company has installed a Chin Fong Straight Side Double Crank Power Press, with 400 ton capacity. Manufactured in Taiwan to the metal stamping manufacturer’s bespoke requirements, the new machine will enable the company to fulfil a clutch of new orders.

The machine, which has a bed area of 2.5m x 1m, can produce metal stampings from material measuring up to 400mm wide and 3.5mm thick. It has a variable speed of between 30-50 strokes per minute and a maximum shut height of 450mm.

Paul Tanner, Sales Manager, said: “This press forms a key element of our plant at H T Brigham. This machine will assist our continued growth into new markets, by increasing our presswork offering and providing our customers with an increasingly diverse metal stamping solution.’

H T Brigham manufactures precision metal stamping solutions and the company specialises in the production of high volume, deep drawn metal stampings from a range of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium and brass.
