Phil Jones Associates opens new South East office
BIRMINGHAM-based transport planning specialist Phil Jones Associates has opened a new office in the centre of Reading.
The company has opened the base to cater for its growing number of projects in the south of the country as well as bolstering its presence in the region, building on its current space at Farringdon in central London.
A team of four planners and engineers have relocated from the Birmingham headquarters to the new office. They are led by Cullan Riley, a specialist in sustainable development and transport planning. More jobs are expected to be created within months as the branch expands.
The new Reading office is paperless and has adopted a flexible working approach – with mobile staff connecting to colleagues and clients through new technologies.
Riley said: “This office is a new venture for Phil Jones Associates in many respects – a new location, flexible working and firm commitment to new technologies.
“Reading provides us with a dynamic and pleasant working environment, a talented work pool, connectivity with our clients and the town’s growing urban design community, in addition to fast access to London and key transport gateways.
“We are looking forward to making our Reading office every bit the success that our Birmingham headquarters has been.”
Phil Jones Associates is working on several high profile projects in the South, including shared space at Bournemouth Winter Gardens and residential developments at ITV Meridian’s former studios in Southampton, Fleet Marston in Aylesbury and Fontwell in West Sussex.
