TCL Tool Hire & Sales scales up to meet demand

COVENTRY-based supplier of tools, abrasives and consumables TCL Tool Hire & Sales has expanded into larger premises.

It has taken 2,960 sq ft of space at Herald Business Park in Binley to meet a growing demand for additional products and services.

The letting was secured through commercial property agents Reeves & Partners which has managed Herald Business Park on behalf of a private pension fund for more than ten years.

TCL, which also operates from an additional branch in Leamington, provides tool hire, repair and sale services with a large portfolio of equipment available for the trade industry and those interested in DIY.

The opening of a larger operation in Coventry will allow TCL to expand its product range by 150% and further develop its client base within the area.

Adam Timms, director at TCL Tool Hire & Sales, said: “TCL opened its Coventry branch around seven-years-ago with the aim of growing its client base across the region.

“Since then we have seen a significant rise in the number of customers requesting equipment and services that we had been unable to stock in-store due space restrictions.

“As an independent, family-run business it is important that we tailor our stock and services to meet customer requirements and felt it was the right time to expand our services in Coventry and move into larger premises.”
