EDM Group anticipating further progress after being named one of Britain’s fastest growing companies

WOLVERHAMPTON information management firm, EDM Group, has said it expects to continue its strong growth trend over the next three years following investment in the business.

The company, which employs almost 1,300 people in the UK, US and Barbados, has received recognition for its growth by being ranked 57th in the latest Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table.

The table lists Britain’s fastest growing technology, media and telecoms companies.

EDM has seen its annual sales grow by 61% to £67.1m over the three years to 2013/14. In 2012, the group, which is owned by the management team and LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyd’s Bank, had annual revenue of £22.7m and 531 employees.

Sam Ferguson, Group CEO and President, said: “This award is fantastic recognition for everything EDM has achieved over the last three years. We fully anticipate strong growth too over the next three years given the investment we have made into developing best-of-breed propositions for managing information effectively and the ever increasing information that organisations have to handle.

“Opportunities for our proposition continue to emerge as both public and private organisations outsource to specialists such as ourselves.”

EDM Group provides companies with effective and efficient information management solutions. Clients include Nationwide Building Society, Companies House, Avis Budget EMEA, Lloyds Banking Group, Grant Thornton, NFU Mutual, Pfizer and numerous healthcare providers, including many NHS Trusts, and Bupa and BMI hospitals.

In total, five companies from the West Midlands were recognised in the latest league table.

The top-ranked company in the region was Solihull-based eTech, which develops software and tablet applications used by surveyors for conducting property valuations. The company made its first appearance in the league table after seeing sales grow 77% to £6m in 2014, which ranked it 36th nationally.
