Grayling boosts offering with twin appointments

GRAYLING has expanded its Midland team with two new appointments. Dani Millward joins as Digital Manager, with Emma Hall appointed as Trainee Account Executive.

Ms Millward joins the agency following successful terms at Rave Communications and Quicksilver PR. In her previous roles she had experience as a Social Media Manager and in traditional public relations, working for clients across the household, beauty and baby sectors.

She now works across Grayling’s digital portfolio, with clients including; Ketel One Vodka, Paypal and Hilton Honours.

Ms Hall joins Grayling following successful work experience placements at Grayling and Haslimann Taylor PR last summer. A recent graduate of American Studies and English at the University of Nottingham, she will be working across a range of clients, including Marks & Spencer, Canned Food UK and Deloitte.

Connect works with Bentley on new website

WOLVERHAMPTON-based Connect has worked with Bentley Motors to design its new website.

The agency has worked with the motor manufacturer for the past 10 years, following the launch of its first Continental GT in 2003. It has worked on everything from product launches, brand strategy, photography, advertising, dealer engagement programmes, customer books, films and websites.

Connect reviewed the Bentley Motors digital landscape and delivered the website to underline Bentley as a premium lifestyle brand.

Cooper over a barrel at Clarke Associates

Ian Cooper and Ralph Green, Clarke Associates BIRMINGHAM-based communications and design consultancy Clarke Associates has appointed a new graphic designer.

Ian Cooper, left, aged 22, is heading up work with clients across a range of design, branding and web development projects.

Initial work has included a substantial specialist publication for a client in the healthcare sector, the redesign of a suite of literature for a business and professional services firm in Birmingham and the development of a website in the food and drink sector, amongst others.

Cooper, who lives in the Jewellery Quarter, graduated from the University of South Wales with a first class honours degree in graphic design.  Before joining Clarke Associates he was commissioned by The Celtic Manor Resort and Washington Green Fine Art, producing outstanding work for the Celebrity Cup Golf Tournament and for artists including Ronnie Wood and Alex Echo.

Clarke Associates has also offered an internship to 22-year-old Oxford Brookes University graduate Ralph Green (right).

A significant part of his role is to handle the day-to-day marketing requirements of Warwick Music Group – manufacturers of the world’s largest selling plastic trombone.  He will also support the wider PR team across a variety of other activity.
