Opus expands at Birmingham Business Park

GBR Phoenix Beard has agreed terms with Opus International Consultants (UK) for the company to double the space it occupies at 3800 Parkside on Solihull’s Birmingham Business Park.
Under the new arrangements, Opus has secured 2,718 sq ft of office space (suites 5 and 5a) under a ten year lease, with the option of a five year break clause.
Opus is a global engineering consultancy, comprising around 90 offices and 3,000 staff. The company is headquartered in New Zealand where it is listed on the stock exchange.
In the UK, the company operates form a network of 12 offices and employs more than 400 staff, providing services to leading infrastructure and building projects for both the public and private sectors.
Initially 20 staff will be based at the new office at Parkside with plans to expand to 32 staff within the next two years.
