Midlands law firm concludes care home sale
REGIONAL law firm Thomas Guise has acted on the sale of a care home operation in the North West.
The firm, which has offices in Birmingham, Worcester, Malvern and London, acted with selling agents Aldridge Care Homes and Windless Solicitors on the sale of the Burwood Residential Care Home in Bacup, Lancashire by Burwood Residential Home Ltd. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Katie Singam, CEO, Burwood Residential Care Home said: “Having provided a high standard of care at Burwood over many years, we reluctantly came to the conclusion that the care home was not a good fit with our future business strategy. However, we are pleased to have secured a sale to very experienced operators who will, we are sure, provide the very best quality of care in the future.
“I am also grateful to the agents and solicitors acting for both sides who enabled the transaction to proceed smoothly and swiftly.”
