KC Edibles chief to speak at Black Country Asian Business Awards

SUKHJINDER Khera, managing director of food manufacturing business of KTC edibles is to be the keynote speaker at this week’s Black Country Asian Business Awards (BCABA).

The sold out awards dinner takes place on Friday (June 19) at Wolverhampton Racecourse.

Some 550 people will be attending the event for which TheBusinessDesk.com is a media partner.

Its chairman, Ninder Johal, who is also president of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Black Country LEP, said that the event’s popularity is a sign of the confidence in the economy and in particular the strength of the Black Country Economy.

KTC Edibles is one of the area’s success stories. It now employs more than 300 and has a turnover in excess of £220m.

There are also Lifetime Achievement and Business of the Year awards.

The charity for the evening is Wolverhampton based Promised Dreams and the awards night is hosted by BBC Asian Network’s Tommy Sandhu.
