Gateley off to a strong start as a listed company

LAW firm Gateley has released its maiden trading update as a listed company.

The Birmingham-headquartered firm – which became the first UK law firm to be listed when it joined AIM in June – reported to the London Stock Exchange this morning that it continued to perform well in the second half of its financial year.

Revenues in the second half continued to demonstrate strong fee income growth and demand for its services and as a result full year revenue for the group is expected to be not less than £60m, it said.

This represents a 10% increase over 2014 and will yield an EBITDA in line with management expectations.

Gateley will announce its preliminary results in September.

Michael Ward, CEO of Gateley, said: “We are encouraged to report such a strong trading statement, our first as a public company.

“Post-admission to AIM, Gateley continues to trade very well and we look to the future with confidence.”
