University of Wolverhampton celebrates KTP landmark

THE University of Wolverhampton is to host a special event marking the 40th anniversary of its Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.
The partnerships, which link companies with a graduate and academic experts to improve competitiveness, productivity and performance, have proved popular at the university through the decades and the facility has a very successful track record.
It will use the anniversary to highlight the initiative and encourage businesses to find out more about what is on offer.
The event will include networking opportunities and a poster competition open to previous and existing KTP Associates and affiliates from its sister programme KEEN (the Knowledge and Exchange Enterprise Network).
Clare Mackinnon, KTP Manager said: “The KTP programme is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to explore innovative initiatives that will give them a competitive edge with the support of not only a graduate but also the expertise of a University academic.”
Business people, graduates and academics are welcome to join celebrations at the Rosalind Franklin Building on September 10 from 5pm-7pm.
