Brace of appointments at Baldwins
BALDWINS Accountants has made a brace of appointments to its team in Coventry.
Mark Butler has become a director while his colleague Caroline Finn has been promoted to audit manager.
Butler previously worked at accountants in Warwick and Coventry after graduating from the University of Worcester.
He originally joined Baldwins Accountants in Nuneaton in 2008 before moving to Coventry when the two offices merged in 2012.
Butler, who has been promoted from associate director to join John Edwards, Peter West and Richard Clayton as directors in Coventry, runs his own portfolio, with clients across the Midlands and as far afield as Lincolnshire, London and Brighton. He specialises in corporate and personal tax advice as well as corporate re-structures, corporate planning and tax planning.
Ms Finn entered the accountancy profession after completing her A-levels at Finham Park School in the city.
After passing her exams to become a qualified accountant, she worked in the finance department at Severn Trent’s headquarters in Coventry.
She moved back into the accountancy profession at practices in Buckinghamshire and Leicester before joining Baldwins in 2013 as an accounts and audit semi-senior.
John Edwards, partner at Baldwins Accountants, said: “Mark and Caroline’s promotions are fully deserved both for their skills and commitment. I am sure that both will play a major part in Baldwins’ continued growth and success.”
