Gateley on course to bring in £30m in six months

BIRMINGHAM-based law firm Gateley has told the London Stock Exchange that it expects revenues for the six months ended 31 October 2015 to be not less than £29.5m.

The firm, the first UK legal business to be listed, says it has made a solid start to the financial year and is trading in-line with management expectations

Revenues are expected to be not less than 10% ahead of the corresponding pro-forma period last year.

In September Gateley announced it had has seen its profit increase by 32.4% and its revenue by 11% year on year to £60.9m.

In its first set of annual results since it floated on AIM in June, Gateley also revealed it had advised on more than 250 corporate deals with an aggregate value in excess of £1.5bn in the year to April 30.

The IPO raised £30m.
