Addictive behaviour group ties up two new contracts

BREAKING Free Group, creator of a digital healthcare platform targeting addictive behaviours, has signed two new contracts.

The firm, which is based at Innovation Birmingham Campus, has done deals with drug and alcohol charity Westminster Drug Project (WDP) and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT).

Breaking Free Online is a digital treatment programme for alcohol and drug dependency that is accessed via a web application. It was created by a team of clinical psychologists and addiction specialists who recognised the need for an easily accessible intervention that could address the underlying psychological and lifestyle issues that drive substance misuse.

The need for access to treatment 24 hours a day has meant that Breaking Free Online is becomingly increasing recognised as a key tool in combatting drug and alcohol misuse.

WDP is a drug and alcohol charity committed to helping those who are affected by substance misuse. For more than 25 years it has provided support to individuals, their families and the wider communities from centres across London, the South East and East of England.

Using Breaking Free Online means WDP will be able to offer all its service users 24 hour access to confidential treatment and recovery support via the internet.
