Flight with 98 passengers finishes on the grass at Birmingham Airport
A FLIGHT finished up on the grass after landing at Birmingham Airport.
No-one was injured in the incident which happened after a chartered aircraft from Paderborn in Germany landed on Sunday afternoon.
The plane’s operator, Lithuanian company Small Planet Airlines, said: “All 98 passengers safely disembarked the aircraft and [there were] no injuries for passengers and the crew”.
A spokesperson for Birmingham Airport confirmed the aircraft had been “manoeuvred off the taxiway into grass after landing”.
Despite the incident, no other flights were delayed.
