Agents fill Three Snowhill slot created by takeover

Property agent JLL has been chosen as the joint letting agent for Three Snowhill after Ballymore and M&G Real Estate were forced to re-run their process.
GBR Phoenix Beard and Savills were appointed last June but Savills acquired its rival two months later, which opened up the slot for a joint agent on the £200m scheme.
The 19-storey building lays claim to being the largest-ever speculative cityc centre office development outside London, is being forward funded by M&G.
“At such an exciting time in Birmingham following the securing of Royal Assent for HS2, JLL is delighted to be appointed as leasing agents alongside Savills on the pre-eminent new office development in the city, Three Snowhill,” said Jonathan Carmalt, director of office agency at JLL.
“Three Snowhill will complete the Snowhill office development which has already proven popular with a range of high quality occupiers and JLL looks forward to working with the team to deliver further occupiers ready for completion in 2019.”
The landmark property represents the third and final phase of the Snowhill masterplan which has been developed by Ballymore over the last 12 years.
The first phase, One Snowhill, was completed in 2009 and is now home to KPMG, Barclays and DWF. Two Snowhill opened four years later and is principally occupied by HS2, Gowling WLG and BDO.
Three Snowhill will provide 385,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, which will sit above the three lower and ground floors that will feature a further 35,000 sq ft mix of offices and potential conference, retail and leisure space.
