eg solutions boosted with new contract win

STAFFORDSHIRE financial software supplier eg solutions has announced a new £330,000 contract win.

The back office optimisation software company said the contract was with a new, unnamed customer and of the initial value, more than two thirds of the revenue will be recognised in the current financial year.

The announcement boosted the company’s share price in early trading.

The contract is for the data capture module of Nuqleus 3D, the business performance software which the company acquired through XTAQ in March this year.  The software will be deployed across 600 users within the Collections & Recoveries and Operations departments of the customer, a UK based closed book financial services institution.

Elizabeth Gooch, eg chief executive, said: “Since eg acquired XTAQ in March 2010 we have successfully integrated the business and are now starting to demonstrate the full potential of Nuqleus 3D in the real-time data capture market.  We believe this product will become a significant contributor to profitable growth.”

Last month, the company secured a further order from Nationwide Building Society for operations management implementation services.
