Make your Mark ambassador named

CLAIRE Cox, founding director of legal recruitment agency Bailey Hunter has been chosen as a regional ambassador for Make Your Mark – the campaign launched to inspire and encourage people in Yorkshire to have enterprising ideas and make them happen.

Previously practicing as a family solicitor for three years, Ms Cox wanted more of a challenge and decided to set up her own legal recruitment business.

Bailey Hunter was founded in June 2008 and has a portfolio of clients from Yorkshire, North West and North East.

Ms Cox said that having the skills and qualifications to work within an industry was one thing, but having the knowledge and aspiration to actually start up, own and run your own business was something entirely different.

“That’s why I want to work with Mark Your Mark to encourage people to take that next step and to provide them with guidance and practical advice – after all I’ve been there,” she said.

Head of Make Your Mark, Yorkshire and Humber, Jane Walton said: “Claire is a great ambassador for Make Your Mark.

“She is a passionate professional with the confidence and drive to make her business work. We are really pleased that Claire is willing to provide guidance and support to other likeminded business men and women of the future.”
