Spiritual contract for Hull firm

HULL-based Delaney Marling (DMP) has won a contract to manage the New Life church expansion project in the heart of the city.

The New Life church is looking to complete major works on the church as well as add other facilities including a community care centre, a media centre, catering provision and conference space.

Simon Delaney, of Delaney Marling, said: “This was a big win for us. We won against still competition based on our reputation and how we came over then we met with the client.”

Jarrod Cooper, senior minister of the New Life church said that DMP “latched” onto to want the church wanted straight away.

“We are an expanding church in an era when church going is reputed to be getting smaller and less relevant to society,” he added.

“We televise to 120 different countries and have ministries in 70. We need a new church to match both our current needs and our future aspirations.”
