CPP recruits Pearsons
DIGITAL recruitment and marketing firm Pearsons has secured a contract to recruit staff for York-based CPP Group.
Pearsons, which has offices in Leeds, Middlesbrough and Newcastle, will recruit contact centre operators for life assistance business CPP which advises customers on issues ranging from lost wallets, identity theft to retirement plans.
The operators will be based in CPP's contact centres in York and Tamworth.
CPP recently won a Business in the Community Award for its commitment to employee well-being and promoting a positive and healthy working environment.

CPP has 10 million customers and 280 business partners across Europe, North America and Asia and employs more than 1,500 employees who handle 14 million service and telemarketing conversations each year.
In 2006, CPP Group revenue was £198.1m, an increase of more than 18% over the previous year.
